Studying God’s Word, fishing, swimming, kayaking, canteen, devotions, horseback riding, and much more will provide our children an opportunity to experience God’s creation with many other Christian youth. Sunday, March 18th, parents can sign their children up for Summer 2012 camp programs at Lutheran Island Camp. You do not need to make a deposit today, as our congregation pays up to 33% of the fee. If you have questions or want more information, Ken Erlandson, LIC camp director, will be at Trinity Church on March 18th to help you sign your child(ren) up for a program.
Join us at Trinity on Thursday, March 8th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for our annual FUN IN THE SUN family event including FREE crafts, activities, games, and snacks!

have enjoyed visiting the book fair and have all made a wishlist! There are books for all ages- yes, even adults. Not only do you benefit by purchasing new books for your personal library, but the preschool does too! This is a wonderful fundraiser for the preschool classroom. Thank you for your support!
In conjunction with National Lutheran School’s Week our Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled from March 4th through March 11th and we’re thrilled to offer this educational experience to our students. This year’s theme is Book Fair Luau: It’s a Reading Celebration! We hope the students will be excited about books and reading.
We invite your family to participate by visiting us during Book Fair week. You and your child will get the chance to purchase bestsellers like Newbery and Caldecott Medal-winning books, chapter books, picture books, and hundreds of other items only available at the Scholastic Book Fair.
Please promote our Online Book Fair to your family and friends. This would be an easy fundraiser for our school as well as promoting reading to our children. The Online Book Fair opens up participation to families and friends, and makes it convenient for parents who are not able to attend the Book Fair in person, or who want to browse an expanded title selection. All profit from our Online Fair sales will be added to our total Book Fair profit as Scholastic Dollars.

New groups are beginning to form again for 4 to the 4th! What is it? This is an opportunity for members of Trinity (singles, families with children, and couples) to gather in homes for fellowship. Four Family Units– Four Months– For Fellowship– For God. Starting , Sunday, February 12th, there will be a sign up sheet in the narthex for new groups. There have been as many as 14 different family units (including singles) that have met over the past year or more. The comments from those that have participated are very positive and they want to continue this program.
The LAMP group will be having a bake sale at the Westridge Mall Charity event on Saturday, February 25th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. LAMP welcomes any baked good donations that you can provide. Please bring your donations to the mall between 8:00 am to 9:00 am on Saturday, February 25th. If other arrangements need to be made, call Shari Sorkness at 218-731-4196. The proceeds from the bake sale will all go toward the mission trip to Canada this year.
Come and join the Fellowship Board on Saturday, February 18th at 1:30 pm at the Vets Home. We will be assisting with the activity for the day and then will serve dessert. The residents really appreciate the attention they get from the outside groups, that come in to help them. Sign up in the kiosk to join us.

The Local Outreach Board has added a number of new greeters to our greeters list and we feel it is a wonderful time to have a “Greeters’ Gathering.” All greeters are invited and encouraged to attend a gathering on Saturday, February 25th from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the church. Rolls, coffee, and juice will be served. We have some new ideas we would like to discuss and we will welcome any of your ideas or questions also. We will also offer a thought-provoking life style situation to which you will want to respond. Mark your calendar now to join us on February 25th.
