LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League) emphasizes mission work with prayer, study, and financial support. They seek to inspire and educate the congregation to higher service in reaching out with Christ’s message of love.

Trinity Crafters will start selling their items at 9:00 am, a catered brunch will be served at 10:00 am which will be followed by a program- “Sing We Now of Christmas.” Tickets are $6.50. Invite your mother, daughter and a friend.
LWML typically meets on the third Thursday of the month. October’s meeting has been postponed until Thursday, October 27th at 1:30 p.m. The change is due to the LWML Regional Fall Rally that was held on the third Thursday this month at Zion Lutheran of Alexandria. Pastor Deterding’s Bible study and selection of nominees for November election, etc. is on the agenda. See you on Thursday and bring a friend.
Attention LWML ladies! Remember, Sunday, October 2nd, is LWML Sunday! As was announced at our meeting last 
week, we will observe this special day in a few ways: Please dress in purple (scarf, dress, blouse, etc.). We will meet in the narthex and give a friendly greeting to all who attend worship that day. We will also plan to process in at the beginning of the worship service and participate in the “LWML Choir” during the service. Ladies, please help us celebrate this great mission organization and its goal of “Serving the Lord with Gladness.”

Come join us May 7, 2011 at 10:00 am for the LWML Spring Brunch titled “A Mother’s Love.” Circles 3 & 4 have good food, a fun loving program and a tribute to mothers for your entertainment. Tickets are for sale after the worship service beginning April 10th through May 1st. Please bring a picture of your mother to the brunch. Trinity Crafters will have their sale that day starting at 9:00 am.
