The Board of Youth Ministry was established to provide Christian opportunities or our 7th –12th grade youth. Involved in the planning of these events are adult and youth members. Together we collaborate and implement a wide range of activities. Currently the group is working on finishing a youth lounge within the church. Throughout the year our tasks include organizing Bible studies, fun fellowship activities, service events and fund raising for future activities.

The classic Christmas story set to some of the most beautiful music ever– Come watch the Three Wise Men visit the humble home of Amahl and his mother and learn about the little boy’s gift to the newborn King who transformed everyone’s life forever. Performed at the Historic Fargo Theatre on December 11th at 2:00 pm. We will gather at the church at 12:15 pm and leave for Fargo at 12:30 pm. We plan to return to the church around 5:00 pm. Flyers and permission slips are available in the kiosk and at Sunday school. The cost is $8.00. Pop, popcorn, and candy are available at the theater concession stand. We welcome interested adults to come as well. Adult tickets are $20.00 ($23.00 if you need a ride). If we get a large enough response we may need additional drivers. Please return your permission slips and money into David Hauser or Ken Heidorn by Sunday, December 4.

The Youth will be taking lefse orders again following the worship service on December 4th and 11th. These orders will be ready to be picked up on December 18th, just in time for Christmas. Thank you for supporting Trinity Youth!
The ACT will be taking orders for Freddy’s Lefse following the church services on November 6 and 13. They will be taking preorders ONLY. The orders are for 10 sheets of lefse per package at $8.00 each. Orders may be picked up in time for Thanksgiving– Saturday, November 19th following trivia or on Sunday, November 20th following the church service. Ordering will also take place in December in time for Christmas.
Tired of always going out to a movie or a restaurant? Are you up for a trivia challenge? Come and play trivia at Trinity 
Lutheran Church (1150 W Cavour, Fergus Falls) on Saturday, November 19th! Trinity’s youth will be serving taco-in-a-bag, hotdogs, beverage and dessert at 5:30 pm. A free-will offering will be taken for the meal. Trivia will begin at 6:00 pm that evening. Be creative and form your team of 8 people now. There is a 12 team limit, so hurry and sign up to participate today! The cost for trivia is $10 per person and will be collected that evening at the door. Prizes for the top teams will be awarded. If you are unable to find enough players for a team, please contact Trinity at 218-736-4869 and you can be placed on a team. Team sign-up deadline is Sunday, November 13th.

THINK AHEAD…The next National Youth Gathering is July 1-5, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. The Board of Youth is planning various activities to help oof-set the cost of this awesome experience. If you have even the slightest interest in attending, please attend youth activities and fundraisers that are planned by the Board of Youth.
