We still need volunteers for the exciting weekend of October 15th and 16th. We have had good response for volunteers to provide food, but we need others to HOST: for Saturday night and Sunday morning breakfast (about 8 homes), VOLUNTEER: youth and adults to accompany the Ongoing Ambassadors for Christ as they go from door to door in selected neighborhoods around Trinity (as many as possible– at least 10 to 15 or more), and SUPPORTERS: anyone and everyone who is interested in simply “getting the message of salvation out to our neighbors” and just to be at the church to be a part of this inspiring weekend. “The Lutheran Witness” (the publication for our LCMS church) is celebrating its 130th year of continuous publication! There aren’t many magazines in American that can print ‘Vol. 130, No. 1’ on their mastheads. This ‘grand old lady’ still has spryness. Each month, the goal is to make her brisk and full of life. As you will notice, with the January issue a number of innovations have been introduced.
