National Lutheran Schools Week Sunday – March 6th

In conjunction with National Lutheran School Week, March 6-12, March 6 is National Lutheran School Week Sunday. On this day we would like to pay special attention to the in-house mission Trinity has-our Preschool. Take a walk down the educational wing and see the artwork of our current preschool students. Take a peek into the preschool classroom and see the special learning stations the students use. On this special Sunday, a basket will be located in the narthex to collect donations for our Preschool. Please support our mission!

School Board “THANK YOU!”

The Trinity Lutheran School Board would like to thank all of those who volunteered their time last Saturday, January 22nd, and attended the marketing seminar held in Alexandria, MN. Your time, effort and service to the Lord are truly appreciated!

Please remember that there is a Marketing Committee meeting this Tuesday, January 25th, at 7:00 pm at the church. Board members please come at 6:30 pm to take care of some non-marketing items beforehand.

Trinity Preschool Christmas Program

Parents, grandparent, brothers, sisters and Trinity members enjoyed the Christmas program that the Trinity Preschoolers performed on December 21st. They performed songs and finger plays that they use in the classroom as learning tools. They also performed Christmas carols, like “Away in a Manger” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The children did a wonderful job!

Computers & School Desks

The school has several used computers and school desks they are offering to all for a free-will-donation. They will be available for your taking starting, today, November 14th, through November 28th, on a first come first serve basis. All funds collected from this free-will-donation sale will be deposited in a special “School Start Up” fund to be used for the school’s  restarting expenses in the future. Check out the variety in the narthex today!

School Board Meeting

A School Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 4th, at 7:00 pm. The new chairman is John Haugmo. John is search of new school board members who have the vision and drive to rebuild Trinity Lutheran School. Please come to the meeting on the 4th if you feel God is calling you to help.

New School Board Member Search

Due to the recent resignation of our School Board, the church council is forming a Nominations Committee to search for new candidates to serve as members of our School Board. As approved at our last voters meeting, the school will continue to operate in the 2010-2011 school year with Pre-School and Kindergarten Connect program. These classes will be taught by Sue Heidorn. Anyone interested in serving on the School Board or Nominations Committee, please contact Jon Schoening at 770-1670.
