Preschool at Trinity will be hiring a preschool classroom aid. Hours will be 8:15-11:15 am on Monday and Wednesday mornings from January 4, 2012 through May 23, 2012. Interested individuals should submit resumes and references to the church office by noon on Wednesday, December 14, 2012.
First Friday Fun program begins on October 7th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am and will continue on the first Friday of each month through March 2012. All families with children ages 0 to 5 are invited to join us in the gym during this time. The goal of this program is to provide a place for children to run and play with their parent(s) during the winter months. This program is sponsored by the Trinity Lutheran School Board.
Preschool at Trinity would like to invite you to be a volunteer and help out with our preschool. There are many different ways we can use your help; in and out of the classroom. If you are interested in volunteering any amount of time, please contact Laura in the church office.
If you are interested, you can place an order for a Preschool at Trinity t-shirt or sweatshirt Sunday, August 28th, in the narthex after the worship service. Wearing these items in the community will help raise awareness of our wonderful preschool. When more people know about Preschool at Trinity, we have the potential to reach more students with the Good News about Jesus!
Buy one, get one (BOGO) Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Trinity! This will be a great opportunity to promote reading over the summer months. During this book fair, for every book you purchase you will get another one for free of equal or lesser value. Everything on the book fair is buy one get one free! The BOGO Scholastic Book Fair will be held at Trinity starting Sunday, June 12th through Sunday, June 19th. The book fair will be open before and after church services and during the week before and after Vacation Bible School.
I would like to thank everyone who helped out with the Scholastic Book Fair this year. It was a great success! The book fair rose over $850.00 in sales. Trinity Lutheran School receives 45% profit from sales which will be spent on classroom books and resource material. Thank you again for all your help and support to make this event such a success!

In conjunction with National Lutheran School’s Week our Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled from March 
6th through March 13th and we’re thrilled to offer this educational experience to our students. This year’s theme is Book Fair Carnival and our slogan is “Your ticket to Read”. We invite your family to participate by visiting us during Book Fair week. You and your child will get a chance to purchase bestsellers, Newbery and Caldecott Medal-wining books, chapter books. Picture books, and hundreds of other items only available at the Scholastic Book Fair.
I’d also like you to promote our Online Book Fair to your family and friends. This would be an easy fundraiser for our school as well as promoting reading to children. The Online Book Fair opens up participation to families and friends, and makes it convenient for parents who are not able to attend the Book Fair in person, or who want to browse an expanded title selection. All profit from our Online Fair sales will be added to our total Book Fair profit as Scholastic Dollars.

In conjunction with National Lutheran School Week, March 6-12, March 6 is National Lutheran School Week Sunday. On this day we would like to pay special attention to the in-house mission Trinity has-our Preschool. Take a walk down the educational wing and see the artwork of our current preschool students. Take a peek into the preschool classroom and see the special learning stations the students use. On this special Sunday, a basket will be located in the narthex to collect donations for our Preschool. Please support our mission!
The Trinity Lutheran School Board would like to thank all of those who volunteered their time last Saturday, January 22nd, and attended the marketing seminar held in Alexandria, MN. Your time, effort and service to the Lord are truly appreciated!
Please remember that there is a Marketing Committee meeting this Tuesday, January 25th, at 7:00 pm at the church. Board members please come at 6:30 pm to take care of some non-marketing items beforehand.
